Moen WS84913SRN Spot Resist Brushed High Bathroom (Open Box)

I have always tried to live by my father's philosophy. If you save your money until you can afford the best available, chances are you'll be happier in the long run. When I remodeled my kitchen, I chose the 7185EWSRS Moen Brantford. It's been an awesome faucet. Now that I'm replacing my bathroom lavatory faucet I chose the Moen Branbury WS84913SRN brushed nickel finish. The majority of this faucet is metal. Sadly they have chosen to save a few bucks & manufacture the base using a plastic material. Anyone who is familiar with Moen products knows their reputation & it's always been quality. Like many Americans, my budget has been tight so I shopped around & didn't purchase it here on Amazon. BIG MISTAKE & lesson learned. Since I'm a Prime member I could have returned it without any problem. I'll either look for a similar style from Delta or keep my 25+ year old Eljer faucet which looks practically new.
