Excellent sound quality and bass from this big speaker. Easy set up and affordable room to room sound. Much less expensive than a sonos system. I love it!

DO NOT buy these speakers unless you want to be forced to rely exclusively on a mobile device (phone or tablet) with (yet another!) required app to control and manage them conveniently. A mobile device app would be convenient as a secondary means of control and management, but it should NOT be the only means! Only a portion of my music library resides on my mobile devices. My ENTIRE music library resides on my PC (in both Apple and Windows media player formats) so of COURSE I would want to control my speakers from my PC! Never mind. I apparently can't stream my music library to the speakers from my PC anyway! How lame! Of course I would not need the app to control the speakers if I only take them down off the shelf, which is situated too high to see or operate the control buttons on the top of the speaker, after first disconnecting the power cable which is routed between the shelf and the wall behind for appearance sake. No, wait! You can't adjust them if they aren't plugged in! So now i can't put the speakers where I want them, unless I climb up on a step stool. Of course Bluetooth is an option that could solve some of these issues - but it is an option that is unacceptable because it degrades sound quality and reduces the speaker's effective wireless range of operation. If I would have wanted cheap, inferior Bluetooth speakers I would not have purchased Wifi speakers! It seems that these design flaws and limitations are built into Wifi speakers in general, not just this particular manufacturer. These just happen to be the speakers I purchased, and I am not happy with wireless speakers that i can't place where I want, listen to what I want, control with my PC, and use to play my PC music library without a smart phone app..No speaker sounds good enough to make up for these limitations IMHO. I will impose a "cooling off" period on myself before returning them. I really wanted these to work for me. UPDATE: The smartphone app required to control the features and functions of these speakers does not work on my Samsung Galaxy smartphone. That particular issue may well not apply to most who purchase this speaker. And, if like many people, you are happy with the sound of mp3 or other compressed files on your smartphone or ipod nano and bluetooth connectivity, you will be happy with these. I have two of these I wanted to set up in stereo, and switch inputs easily between my TV, my ipod classic and my PC library. With a fubar phone app I am forced to change inputs manually which is a royal inconvenience - as I explained in detail above. To my ears sound quality of a pair of these working in stereo is comparable to something like a Bose 2.1 system - not fine dining sound-wise - but just OK as in "I'm hungry so MacDonald's will be OK" sort of way. If you are like most people (and thank God not like me) you should be pleased with them.
