Corsair Dual SSD Mounting Bracket 3.5in

Yes it works. It accomplishes what is needed, so rest easy knowing this. But when you mount the SSD, it causes the whole thing to bend enough to be very easily noticeable. Also, the bend is enough that it interferes with putting it in to a hard drive caddy, though it still will, just not smoothly. It does, as in the picture, appear to be relatively thick metal. So upon seeing this I thought of the Corsair 3.5 to 2.5 adapters I bought a few years back that seemed very overbuilt for their purpose; they had some heft to them. This one appears the same but is definitely different metal and very lightweight. It does what it needs to, but the purpose of buying this was to essentially at long last do the finishing touches on a PC build. It was one of those situations of my main PC being the one I rely on for many things, so getting it up and running quickly was more of a concern than waiting to properly mount a 2.5 SSD. So, now it is indeed properly mounted, but the adapter feeling so light and flimsy is a point of irritation when you're doing a finishing touch.
