Definitely NOT waterproof!

I wanted to love these pads, but they just were NOT waterproof. They look great and seem to be very well made, but several layers of bed linens were more than a little damp after an incontinence event. I’m so tired of changing the bed in the middle of the night and, based on the reviews, I thought having these pads on top of the bed would save me a lot of effort. I’m so disappointed. The crib sized mattress pad I use under the sheet does a better job.
