This is heavy duty. I used it for a 42 inch tv and it worked perfect. So many wall mounts to choose from and this one doesn't tilt like some do. I used smaller lags since I could install in studs. Very sturdy

Inaccurate description

I purchased two of these mounts in September based on the description given in anticipation of mounting two televisions that I would be purchasing for Christmas. When we got ready to mount the tvs (one 55 inch and the other 58 inch), we discovered that the brackets were too short and had no way to extend! I had missed my return window opportunity and had to go purchase two more mounts. Very misleading and disappointing! I am out of the money that I spent for these two mounts!
