The uses of this light go way beyond lighting up a flag or walkway!

I bought this light to use inside my home. I don't have the resources to install a full solar system and may never have that opportunity, but I am tired of ever increasing electric bills to light up my home. I've tried several products, shed lights, others, and the best lighting I have found thus far isn't meant for indoor lighting. Garden lights that you can shut off are such a blessing. People in the Northeast United States are told that solar is not for us because we don't get enough winter sunlight. BUNK! HOGWASH! My solar lights, set up inside a window, provide hours of light daily for virtually every day of the year. It is a rare day that they don't get enough sun to give me at least a partial illumination for the evening. However, in order to read, I need a brighter light. They work, and work well, but aren't enough to give good reading or working light for fine details. I am a disabled hobby artist, I am a reader. I purchased this light to give me the light I need to do fine work, to see the colors I am working on. Believe me, this light is awesome! I can see the colors almost as well as in daylight, and I can read with no problem at all. Yes, I know that the charger must be outdoors to receive the sunlight. So, I hung the light up, and daily take it off the charging plate, putting the solar panel out in the sunshine so that when it gets dark, I can bring it back indoors to do its job. While I have only had it a short time (couple weeks) I am thrilled with it. And the price is so affordable too. As soon as I am able, I will purchase more of these to put throughout my home. While it does not illuminate in the same manner as an incandescent bulb, the quality of the light, the fact I am NOT paying the electric company any more than necessary is awesome to me. I plan to purchase at least six more of these as soon as I can. Thank you to the seller, thank you to the manufacturer. Blessings to each reader.

Stays on all night but dim for a floodlight
By Dr. D123 on Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2017
The positive: It stays lit nearly all night. The negative: Quite a dim light for a "floodlight." It's more like a night light than a floodlight. I'm trying to light up the underside of a tree and this falls short of being able to do that. Another problem is that there is no spike for mounting the light. It has to sit right on the ground (the one included spike can only be used for the solar panel). The adjustable bracket can allow you to angle it perhaps 0-30 degrees. But if you want it to shine straight up--or close to that--forget it. There is no way to angle it that high without a stake. I currently own LED spotlights that all have stakes and I can angle them to any possible angle I want. Not so with this product.. It's best if you are looking for a dimmer light that is on most of the night and you don't want it to shine high above.
