I use this at the low setting with my 1080p projector, and it does a nice job enhancing the image without looking artificial.

This scaler does offer a slight benefit with video sources despite that there are no adjustments other than Off, Low and High. I do find that the unit remembers its last setting and returns to that setting once turned on again, unlike what someone else described. The greatest, and easiest to notice changes in video quality is obvious to see with Youtube videos which vary in resolution and quality.I'm glad I got a good deal on this because I would have been disappointed otherwise. For what I paid, I'm satisfied to have Youtube slightly enhanced.
