Not 100% fiber optic

I bought this cable because the description says it is optic fiber. Due to some ground loop hum I needed an optic fiber cable to cut the copper connection between my projector and av receiver. Well, this cable is not 100% optic fiber It is a hybrid with copper and fiber optic wires. Nowhere in the description on Amazon or Monoprice does it specify this. I don't blame Amazon cause I am sure they they aren't the ones who wrote the description rather they go off what Monoprice provides. However, it is clearly stated on the box that it is a optic fiber/copper Hybrid. Why isn't this fact included in the description? So if your looking for a 100% fiber optic cable this is not the one to get.
