Great shampoo. Highly recommended

The starting point for this review should be me telling you that I'm not a canine hair care expert. I have, however, been washing my three dogs for 11, 10, and 2 years, respectively. I don't cut their hair, though, so when the dogs smelled great after a cut-and-clean, I asked the groomer what she used on them. That was my introduction to Mauro Natural Dog Shampoo. I waited a few days to make sure my dogs didn't have any skin issues with Mauro (dryness, itching, residue build-up), and then ordered a bottle when I was comfortable. Since I finished the shampoo I already had (before using Mauro), I had almost forgotten that I had the bottle laying around. However, from my first use (until now) Mauro lathers well, rinses clean, and doesn't leave residue at the base of the hair. Oh, and the dogs smell awesome for a couple weeks, without smelling perfume-y. Highly recommended.

My dog's salon used this shampoo and I loved the scent so much that when I moved away, I bought it from their store. The bottle was finally running low, so I ordered another from this vendor. It's the same bottle but the color and smell are entirely different. The original formula was a whitish milky color and smelled amazing. This bottle, the formula is clear and smells more herbally, like eucalyptus.
