These are perfect for adding that extra bit of weight to your dumbbells, but, if you tend to clank em' together, then I wouldn't trust them to stay put. Great for adding weight to large dumbbells for simple moves like shrugs,squats and deadlifts, but I don't trust them when bench pressing. They don't stick well to kettlebells either. Bottom line, perfect for increasing weight and not having to buy large dumbells (70-100lb range), but not so much for the 20 - 60lb range.
