Volcom mens Frickin Modern Stretch Chino

I have several pairs of the VMonty shorts in different colors, and these fit pretty much the same. However, they are about 2 inches shorter or so. The VMontys come about halfway over the knee, whereas these rest just above the knee. I'm 6 foot 1, 180 lbs., and have a 33 inch waist, for comparison. They fit as expected. My advice is to buy your normal size, wash cold and line dry. One big bummer for me, and hence the rating, is the navy color. I specifically chose these because I couldn't get the VMontys in navy. These are "dark navy", and they are almost black in person, different than how they appear in the photos. They don't match anything that has real navy color in it. Hoping to match these to some shirts you have with navy in them like I was? They don't match. Frickin chinos, frickin annoying.
