Makita 18V Lithium-Ion Drill-Driver Kit

I've liked Makita for years. I was proud to tell my dad that I had bought this drill and had been enjoying using it. That led to unusual but good-natured ridicule of me and a comparison of my Makita to his DeWalt drill. The best defense is a good offense, so I told him that it's ok that my Makita only illuminates the lower half of the target area because only amateurs need the full illumination the DeWalt drill gives. Also a hard case is better than the DeWalt's soft bag because it allows you to reconfigure things so it fits where you need it to instead of putting it anywhere in your car and taking off. And who cares that there are way more DeWalt tools that use the same battery than Makita offers. Don't get me wrong: The Makita works reliably. But DeWalt is the way to go.
