Definitely a quality product!

Definitely a quality product, and a step up from others I've bought in the past. There are no hard plastic parts that become brittle with use and break over time. In fact, I'm thinking of getting two smaller lights for other paintings. The colors in my painting look really good under the lights. It also has a remote control that, with the push of a button, can program the light to turn itself off within a set number of hours; that saves battery power because you won't have to remember to turn it off before going to bed. The light can also be dimmed with the remote. Because the fixture's arms are moveable, and the battery boxes swivel depending on the way you want to mount them, it will require two sets of hands to mount the light to a wall, which is what I did. However, if you're going to mount the battery boxes to the picture, you can easily do so by yourself. You just flip the boxes over so that the screw holes are against the painting. Unfortunately, I couldn't do that without putting screws through the painted panel, but it's nice to have alternate options. As others have said, the boxes are about 1" deep, so your picture will stand out from the wall that much, but it's not really a problem. You will also have to place your picture wire carefully so that the battery boxes don't interfere with the line.

Nothing but problems...
By Rick in AZ on Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2016
**Update: I finally gave up on the Cocoweb light. It worked well out of the box, but quickly developed problems. I returned it to the factory and got a replacement. The replacement had problems as well. I could never figure out if it ws just the remote control (which they also replaced) or something with the light. Frankly, it turned into a large waste of money. The Good: Looks nice, works well. The Bad: Pain to install. Technology could use a boost. We hung this light on a picture in a frame that is 34 inches across. I debated about whether to get the 16" or the 21". I'm glad I chose the 16". 21" would have been overkill and the 16" gives great light. I gave it three stars because while it looks good and lights well, it's a major headache to install. I'm a very handy guy. I've gutted and remodeled entire condos. This light is tricky because everything swivels. That creates a problem with trying to figure out how to mount the battery boxes. We did a wall mount (which works well with the boxes on the wall behind the painting canvas). I spent way too much time measuring and leveling for such a simple project. Cocoweb could fix this in a moment by simply enclosing a template for drilling (are you listening, Cocoweb?). It's not impossible, you just have juggle the two battery boxes, the level and a marking pencil. Easy, right? I knocked it down an additional star because it's missing one thing that should be common by now. The light has a remote control that allows you to turn it on from a distance and choose 1, 2, 3 or 6 hours running time. That's great. The thing it's missing is what I have in all my other electronic candles (that cost about $5). That's an evening timer. You turn it on one evening, an the timer remembers that forever (or until the batteries die). Every night at the same time the light kicks on. Once again, $5 plastic candles have it, I would think that a $200 light could have it as well. Add a template and an evening start timer and I could give it 5 stars.
