X-large fits XX-large long sofa. It specifies up to 104"W x 40"D but it actually fit on a longer sofa (106"W x 35"D). The 5" difference in depth allowed this cover to go longer. It just barely fits on my Sunset West Coronado Wicker Sofa - American Made and finest quality luxury wicker you can find.As for the covers they are durable enough to last outdoors for about a year in Maryland less if you are in the sunbelt. It will become brittle and tear in about a year which is not very long but the design and style Trumps durability if you are looking for stylish neutral coverings.

Waterproof protection?

I was pleased with the look and fit of the covers, but after three days of rain and then three days of over 70 degree nice weather, the underside of the covers are all wet and now the cushions they were supposed to be protecting from dampness are all wet. The underside seems to be made of a rubberized material, so I don't know how the water is getting through, unless it is from condensation. There is quite a bit of water on the underside of the covers.
