Bag quality is going down

I have had this trash can for a few years now and was happy with it. But since the last couple of trash bag deliveries, the quality has dropped. Now half of the time when I pull out the bag from the can it rips off. I've also had the string breaking while trying to tie up the bag. This never happened in the first three years of owning this can. I hope the quality will come back up because this is not what I am expecting from SimpleHuman
