A Brush My Cat Actually Enjoys (and i enjoy using on him)
By Kat on Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2024
I bought this brush to help manage my cat's shedding, and it works wonderfully. My cat is super fluffy and sheds a lot, which used to make my allergies worse. This brush removes tons of loose hair, and it's surprisingly gentle—my cat usually hates grooming, but with this brush, he actually tolerates it (and might even enjoy it sometimes!). I can tell by the purring. The self-cleaning feature is what makes this brush stand out. With other brushes, I always had to wrestle with pulling out clumps of hair that got stuck between the bristles. With this one, just press the button, and all the fur comes off. It's such a time-saver compared to other brushes I've tried. It’s oddly satisfying to see how much fur it collects each time. The handle is comfortable, the brush is lightweight, and it feels well-made—no signs of wear after multiple uses. Overall, I’m really satisfied. This brush is better than others I've used, especially for its cleaning mechanism and my cat's improved reaction. I’d definitely recommend it to other pet owners looking for a convenient way to reduce shedding. And its gentle on his skin. Pros: Effective at removing loose fur. Self-cleaning is easy and efficient. Gentle on the pet, comfortable to use.

I was expecting soft, fine bristles as advertised
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2025
This is a nice brush, but the bristles aren’t what I would consider soft. They are fine but too scratchy for my cat’s skin. They even felt scratchy to my own skin. Harry, my cat is part Maine Coon with thick but fine fur and the bristles made him uncomfortable. He’s always been sensitive to brushing. He didn’t like it AT ALL. Maybe better suited for dogs with thick fur and less sensitive skin. The only reason I’m even mentioning it is because I wanted to give other pet owners with pets with sensitive skin a heads up. I’m going to donate it to my local animal shelter instead of sending back since it wasn’t that expensive.
