A fun way to relax nostalgically.

A good start, spirograph! Now for the rest of the shapes! We need the little football-shaped and the x-shaped pieces! :) I love it. It's nostalgic, maybe. I dunno. I have bought several sets over the years, even as an adult, but the plastic pieces never last. This set seems like it might last... longer than the inserts that keep it in its box. Should be interesting to see how it holds up in 20 years! It's basically impossible to ask a company to not use plastic though. I get it.

Teeth Don't Line Up Well

I wanted to love this set, and I gave it 3 stars because it is a nice set... if all you want to do is look at it. If you're looking for a set you can actually use, however, this is not that set. The pieces aren't well carved for smooth movement. The teeth reach a point where they don't line up, and your writing tool will either skip, making a mess of the drawing, or it will just refuse to move any further. As I said, I wanted to love this, and for the nostalgia, I do. But I'm so disappointed that I can't really use it like I was hoping.
