I love this blender, I've bought it several times over the years. Its plastic, not glass, so its not heavy and doesn't break when accidentally hitting anything while washing it. Easy to clean and the settings are fine for me. I make a smoothy , with ice, every morning and never had a problem. It also has a grind, crush setting with pulse action, & a puree setting. The price is great and I highly recommend it.

My review in September 2016 indicated that this blender jar was much less sturdy than the one being replaced. That blender jar lasted 10 years. This one is already cracked after just 2 months!
