Phenomenal Printer

I have purchased and used previous Epson printers for the past ten years, and they have all exceeded my expectations. I recently purchased this new printer to printer larger and to have the ability to use larger, thicker papers. I've had my eye on this printer for the past two years and it should be noted that my (professional!) photographer friends all have and love this printer. Having a $300.00 rebate and going through Amazon allowed me to get the best price possible. It was at my home in days and was super easy to set up and start using. This printer is truly phenomenal and sets the bar higher than the competition. If you want superior performance and stunning prints, then this printer is you're looking for. Last, my friends, who have owned their Epson printers for over two years have had zero problems. You will not regret purchasing this printer!

Slightly Used, to say the least.

When I recieved the printer, it would not start until I replaced the three doors that were shipped loose. When I printed for the first time, the colors were way off. The reds were orange. The blues were purple. I called Epson for help and they told me to clean the heads three ti.es. if still didn't work, clean they again three times. During that process, I found out the ink in the printer was dated 2018. The ink was at least six or seven years old. After cleaning the heads six times, the printer seems to works pretty well. The ink cartridges are half gone because of the cleaning. Because of the age of the ink, I have to clean the heads periodically to maintain good print quality. For $1,500.00, I would have thought the printer would have been in better shape.
