JanSport Laptop Backpack

The JanSport Cortlandt 15-inch Laptop Backpack has become my go-to choice for my kid's school day and travel. I’ve had Jansports all my life and nothing really beats it. This model is no exception. It has a large main pocket with a padded divider, great for storing a laptop along with books. The middle snap pocket has some organization pockets for smaller items like a phone, pencils, a wallet, or maybe your laptop charger. And then it has a small pocket in front for little items like car keys. The one thing this model doesn’t have that has been helpful in the past is there’s no side water bottle holder. Other than that this backpack is the same great quality it’s always been. Plus it’s an attractive color and easy to clean material.

My daughter has this bookbag now, and she's in her freshman year at college. She's had it since her Junior year in High School. She likes the space and the durability of the bag.

Can’t say yet if it is durable or comfortable bcz my sister has not yet worn it but I can say for sure it looks well sturdy, looks and feels genuine, bright colors, nice leather at bottom, insides padded, good size and lots of compartments. We love it!Update (Sep 22, 2023): It has been over a year now, the bag is still in tip top condition, no tears, no rips, beautiful bright colours just the same, worth every dime! BUY IT!

I love this backpack for its color and style. It's somewhat smaller than a "standard" backpack but with good organizational pockets and details it carried what I needed it to. My only real complaint about the design is no pocket on the side to carry a water bottle, which I feel is SO standard that I just assumed this bag would have one and was disappointed when it did not (however this is also my fault because I could have read the description better). I took off one star from my rating because the bag arrived with some wear already on the vegan leather bottom portion of the bag (where it's stitched to the fabric) and it wore further after some VERY light use. Will still keep the bag and continue to use it since the damage is only cosmetic.

My daughter had to have this backpack because of it being one of the most popular brands to have right now for younger kids and older kids like. She loves the color and the straps that hold the front pocket down. It seems to be very durable and if it’s not very durable, then they have a really good warranty program. I highly recommend this backpack. Especially since my daughter is super happy about having it. For the money I think it’s a good purchase.

It’s great! I just wish the big zipper had two grippers as opposed to just one & maybe a lil mesh side pocket but, I like it.

I really dislike how the zipper gets caught in the material of the backpack. I also dislike how there is no cup pockets on the side of the backpack, i have to make room for my water bottles inside of the bag. I really like the color, brown and black is the best in my opinion, it goes with almost all of my clothing. For traveling it is great, i use it for school everyday and can fit all my supplies perfectly and it can keep everything in place and nothing moves. It seems to hold my stuff pretty good, very durable in my opinion.
