Great Little Kettle

This Kettle has been bike packing with me all summer long. It folds down to the size of a small plate and is easy to clean. I holds enough water for 2 cups of coffee and the water boils quickly in it. Love the color too, it makes it easy to find in my pack. We even heated water in it over an open fire instead of a stove when we ran out of fuel. It performed well but we did have to scrub the soot off the outside with some sand. Be careful not to let the flames come up the side of the pot I think it could melt.

Good if water is all you need but

This pot may work well for water, but put anything else in it and be prepared to have bits of that stuck inside for the rest of time because it's nigh impossible to clean in the field. Good if water is all you need but, unfortunately, not up to the ticket if you're hoping to use this as a general use pot that packs up small, for general cooking.
