Fluke Digital Multimeter

I bought the Fluke 17B+ because I wanted a full function multimeter with the ability to take temp readings. This meter is not made for the US, it made for the Chinese market. However, it works just fine for the US market and it's a lot cheaper. The closest Fluke meter for the US I could find with the same functions on it is the Fluke 179 which cost more than double the price of this one. I don't use a multimeter that often, so I didn't want to spend the $400+ for the 179. This meter works fine for my use. It fits really well in your hand, and has a kickstand on the back to hold it upright when you're not holding it. The leads on it are not the silicon ones Fluke is known for, but at this price I'm not complaining . It didn't come with a case which would have been nice. I think any multimeter over $100 should ship with a case, but oh well. The few times I use it, it responds very quickly and seems to be accurate. It is a Fluke after all. So far I'm very happy with it, especially for the price.
