High quality dog bed (your cats will love it too)
By Fringe on Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2025
OK so I want to start off by saying- I did try cheaper beds first. The cheaper beds I tried are less fluffy, NOT waterproof, and the material gets worn and even torn up pretty quickly. So I bit the bullet and I bought the more expensive bed, and i am SO glad I did. It's beautifully made, just a simple dog bed - you can take it apart for easier cleaning - and if you're lazy like I tend to like to be I suggest getting the blanket by this company as well to put over the bed ( and get something to hold it in place too.. I use the bed sheet clips that look like suspenders to hold the blanket over the bed ) this way all i have to wash if there is any mud/ or messes is the blanket! I take a lint roller to the actual dog bed and it's usually good to go. My dog prefer to be off the ground so I also actually have this on top of an elevated dog bed ( with the rubber mat center ) . This bed is THICK ! My dogs probably think it's my bed mattress! With their old bed they very rarely used it, now I have 3 dogs and 3 cats trying to get on this bed at all times. Another bonus is the nice neutral look to it, it is not an eye sore at all. If you're wondering if it's worth the money- it is, I promise

Lovely bed, but awkward for midsized dogs
By Susan Kuang on Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2020
It was recently King Ollie’s 5th birthday And we decided to really spoil him by transitioning his dog food to Ollie and then this luxurious bed rather than the $20 Marshalls beds he was getting before. He honestly didn’t love either at first, but we’re getting there! I really found others reviews helpful when I was deciding to buy this bed so thought that I would share more things that I wish I would have known when I bought it: - it’s larger than you would imagine based on dimensions - I have a 14 pound havapeke and you can see how small he is based on the picture (usually a Medium in dog clothes and harnesses), compared to the Large bed. He’s about 14 inches neck to tail. It’s about maybe 2x a standard dog bed for a dog his size. We didn’t end up getting a small because he wouldn’t have enough room to sprawl out in a small. I searched all around including the pet fusion website for a Medium bed, since it’s weird that it jumps from small yo large, and it doesn’t exist so save your time. I’m 5’7” and average weight and fit 100% in the bed if I tuck my legs to my chest. - the mattress itself is vacuum sealed so be fairly sure of yourself before you buy it - because once you open it up, it’s not going to fit back in the box for a return and will cost additional to return it unless you go to Amazon drop off stores or Kohl’s All that being said we did decide to keep the bed for the following reasons outside of the hassle of returning but there was an adjustment period for our dog: - it’s actually a legitimate bed; it’s a true 4 inch memory foam mattress - not egg crate foam. I’ve personally napped it with my dog at least once to try to get him used to it, and it’s very comfortable compared to our real memory foam mattress. - it’s a great length for him to sprawl out - but I will say that where he has the most issue, is because it’s such a large bed for his size, it’s not the most comfortable for him because the edges are too high for him to comfortably rest his head on and he’s also a big cuddler so he doesn’t like that he can only nest against one edge or a corner at a time cause the bed is so wide - the removable covers are really nice to clean - sandstone is a nice light gray color (not beige) that matched our walls We did keep the box in case he really hated it because he didn’t really have interest in laying in it at first but we were determined so To help transition him we did the following: - I would lay in his bed before bed, so he would come lay in it to cuddle with me - we moved his bed which historically has been next to my desk to be next to my side of the bed, so it was more of an offer to sleep next to mama - we put a bunch of blankets in the bed and a soft plush in the bed to more closely emulate if he were sleeping in bed with us -we threw treats in his bed so he’d lay in it and eat it It took him maybe a little over a week or so to decide that he liked it with all the add-ins but it was a PITA to get him there. I think this would 100% be a 5/5 mattress for a large dog; but the sizes are really awkward for a mid size dog which is why I would give it a 3/5 since they don’t have a medium option and we have to go out of our way to make it more comfortable for him.
