Finding kids basics, like a quality cotton turtleneck is not as simple as I thought it would be. THIS HITS THE MARK. Nice quality, thick cotton turtleneck that does not ride up! My biggest pet peeve with kids clothing is the tops are never made long enough. The minute kids throw their arms up in the air, everything from t-shirts to winter coats leave their little backs bare. This is long enough to allow for movement without exposure to the elements. Also, this has cuffs on the sleeves, which are just the right length. The cuffs add so much to this in terms of style and quality. It's a great basic. The price seemed a bit much at first, but am willing to pay it for this quality, fit and style.
