I own 2 different models of this fan The AM 09 which I prefer, I believe it to be quieter & works a little different/ easier when changing from heat to cool & cool to heat. The AM 05 fan makes a little more noise. The prices are high, but I knew that when I bought each one. I purchased the AM 09 Feb of 2016 I purchased the AM 05 March of 2017 Many unique advantages of a fan like this such as no exposed moving parts, heat and cool. If you do not mind spending more...you get more

Just don't rely on refurbished.

It worked great the first time we used it and then didn't work the second time and we had to return it. No problem with the return or refund.
