Frontier Co-op Elderberries

One thing to know about elderberries if you are new to making elderberry syrup is that the stems can be very toxic. Berries good, stems bad. This brand came with a lot of stems compared to other brands I have purchased from Amazon. I added a picture to this review of the twigs and stems I pulled out from just 2 cups of the bag. There was even more last time I made a batch. It took about 15 minutes to sort through the 2 cups and clear these out,so if time is valuable to you, I would suggest paying a tad extra for another brand that separates twigs a bit better.
