LiveFresh Mesh Strainer Stainless Set

Unfortunately, the item is unsatisfactory because it is not what is describe here. I wanted an 8 inch pasta strainer. And the website describes the largest of the three strainers as a pasta strainer and 8 inches. Unfortunately, the truth is that the OUTER diameter is only 7 1/2 inches (note that the two smaller strainers are sized to the nearest half inch). But worse than that, the outer diameter is a meaningless measure for this purpose. Standard pasta strainers are truly 8 inches at the inner diameter, while this is only 6 1/2 inches at the inner diameter (that is, the width of the mesh). To top it off, it is very shallow. As a result, its not at all useful as a pasta strainer. The product looks like it could be fine for some purposes (so I give it 2 stars instead of 1). But it is being mis-represented as something that it is not. Update: The customer service people at LiveFresh are quite responsive, giving a refund and updating the description in the entry. (Though it still shows outer diameters. Be aware that the rim takes about an inch off of each of the actual mesh diameters.) So I give them a third star.
