UPDATE (8/11/19) WALL CHARGER STOPPED WORKING!!!! DONT BUY!!!!
By michael Seybert on Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2016
I just recieved my iClever BoostCube 4.8A 24W Dual USB Travel Wall Charger with SmartID. I'll start from the beginning. It shipped promptly with Amazon Prime and was indeed here in two days (which I was thankful for as I lost my other charger for my iPhone 6s Plus). I opened the large Amazon box and pulled out the packing material. Inside was a small box (the wall charger) and a new AmazonBasics 6ft white lightning to USB cable (which I reviewed on that product page). I grabbed the small box containing the charger and opened the small cardboard box. To my amazement and joy - the box was even high quality yet didn't have a stupid sticker or tape over the opening. I simply pulled the box open and the charger was in direct sight. It was nicely wrapped with the charging prongs folded in some cellophane wrapping to protect it from damage. I also got the charger in white as well to match. I unwrapped the rest of the charger and inspected it. It has two 2.4A USB charging ports and SmartID to ensure that it allows for the quickest charges for each type of device you use. I bought this one as it has two USB ports so I can charge my phone and my external Anker PowerCore 10000 battery simultaneously. I then plugged my new cable in to the charger and then plugged it in to the wall. Immediately the Blue LED lights that are inside the USB ports came on and were visible in the USB port that was not occupied by the cable. I love the idea of this to aid in finding it in the dark. I plugged my phone in and it had 60% batt power. I checked it 15 minutes later and it had already risen to 70% charged. In the end - I would recommend this product to everyone I know as a replacement (And maybe even better) than the factory Apple one that comes with the phone. Update (8/11/19) ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END! It has been a while since I purchased this plug, at first it worked super well for about a month, however, after that time I plug it in and it lights up for a few seconds and then goes black and stops charging? I have tried it on probably 25 different outlets all do the same thing. It has been a while since I have used this plug as it is at our vacation home and I haven’t had time to write an update to my review. I am super unsatisfied with this plug now as it simply doesn’t work as it is supposed to. You can see mine looks brand new (as I cant use it). Anyone else experience this problem?

Possible FIRE Hazard! Buyers Beware!
By Lovely Weather on Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2017
This charger did it's job well, like most chargers do. The ability to charge two devices from one outlet? Very handy. Amazing reviews here to back that up. I was one of them, and things were great for me as well. But that's when it happened. It was 8pm on a Wednesday when I was sitting down enjoying some Television, charging my phone. That was right around the time I noticed it... Why are my living room lights flickering? Strange. Eventually, after twenty or so minutes of this happening, I get fed up. So, I turn off the television to try and investigate further. After searching around for a bit in a completely silent living room I hear a crackling noise. Strange indeed... Where is it coming from? What could be causing this? Is it my newly installed dimmer switch going bad? Has a mouse chewed threw my electrical wiring? Is the world coming to an end? Sizzle, sizzle... It continues... But from where? I keep searching, and searching, until finally. Bingo. There it is. Just like that, I find the culprit. No, it wasn't my dimmer malfunctioning. The mice had not eaten my wires and the world as of now was not coming to an end. Not at all. It was my phone charger... THIS charger. So, I try and figure out why this is happening and simply give the charger a nudge. I quickly realized that just by touching the charger I was easily able to make this thing crackle and emit the sound of a tiny lightning storm, internally sparking over and over. Examining further, the problem seems to be in the swivel design of the plug. The part that allows you to tuck the plug in to make this more "square" in design, similar to what a lot of other bulky chargers do. Well, whatever internal "hinge" system they are using on this specific device in my specific situation seemed to have created a gap, or failure point that allowed a constant arching to happen. Obviously this creates a huge potential for overheating and eventually the potential for catastrophic failure. Feeling, and then smelling the charger only helped solidify my theory. The thing was hot, and smelled exactly what you would think a charger slowly melting from the inside out would smell like. Look, I was lucky. My flickering lights visually warned me that something was wrong somewhere. I was lucky that I was able to find it before it melted. Sure, I can't sit here and say there was a guarantee it would have kept sizzling until it caught on fire, but I also can't say that it would not have. Good luck, and be warned.
