A 5-Star for SEAHAWKS, but LISTEN UP SIZE folks
By C.Rice on Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2015
I like this UGLY sweater....GO HAWKS. It gets a 5-Star, but mostly because I can't put a lesser star on anything SEAHAWK related. If I were going on sizing, it would get a 3-Star, but not because of it's sizing chart (which I found accurate if you consider this is a tailored sweater and not your average comfy sweater or ugly sweater for that fact which are usually swimming with room. Because it would seemingly fit, on average, a rather slender population even at it's largest sizing, it gets a 3-Star. SO HERE'S THE 411....I have tried to get myself a Seahawks Ugly Sweater for MONTHS now. It has been a challenge. Who knew an Ugly sweater would be so hard to come by? Oh...yeah, it is the HAWKS we're talking about here :) I digress, info you want to know about sizing. I'm 5'8" and 135 lbs, so I'm no size 2 or 4, which is what I see a lot of folks commenting on the only size the sweater fits, but I'm on average a size 6. To describe myself, I'm an average height, more straight body/torso woman with evidence of kid hatching, but no evidence of Ding Dong and Ho Ho abuse (no hard feelings toward Ho Ho's and Ding Dongs...just sayin). AKA, not super petite, but not that big either. I tried to originally order one of the Men's Ugly Seahawk sweaters. They were out of medium and after receiving the large, I had to send it back because it was way too big (I believe a medium would have still been fairly loose, but I could have pulled it off and it would have had a "typical sweater fit." I ordered a LARGE in this female version. There is a distinct difference in the fit of this sweater over how the men's sweaters are made. Consider these sweaters to be like many woman's things "MORE TAILORED" then Men's Items. I can wear this large comfortably (and consider I wear a small in Ann Taylor Loft, a medium in the women's seahawk fitted jersey, a size 4/6 in fitted shirts, and I sometimes go to medium for comfort), but I would consider this LARGE a "fitted sweater," with more room in the chest (though sadly I'm B-cup at best so this is never a problem for me) and more fitted along the torso." So if you have much of any middle on you, this sweater in general is gonna be a challenge. There's no extra for hiding in the torso in my opinion, a big problem for probably 80% of the female population beyond 25. I can probably wear a thinner shirt underneath this size Large, but wouldn't consider a lot of layers as it may not work and if I wore a button up shirt with a collar (that shirt would have to be fitted over a loose button up which wouldn't work at all). All this being said, I was able this afternoon to order an x-large, and I'm going to compare the two when this one arrives and decide which to keep. The arm length is nice, but if you are petite, you may find them long because I'm long armed and I didn't feel it was verging on too short at all. The quality of the sweater is nice. Logos/decals as pictured and also nice. I did get them Amazon Prime, so hopeful I have no issues with a return. I will update my review on the second size when I try it to give more sizing information as it seems to be an issue. I will probably post pictures then as well showing the two different sizes. I, at 5'8" 135 lbs would NOT have fit a medium happily for those wondering size wise and would have either kept it out of desperation and looked like a stuffed scarecrow or I would have been terribly disappointed and returned it in disgust. Shipping and service was 100% Update: I have now tried sizes L & XL. I poled friends and it was a toss up between comfort and look with the friends. The Large was majority vote for flatter over comfort if that tells you anything. Posting pics for fit details/ideas. Again, 5'8" 135 lb. The XL had more torso space, but not sure that it was more anymore flattering. Interestingly, the Large felt like the length of the arms was slightly longer though neither were too short. Cannot oat pics with this so will try with the XL review.

Soft but Small
By Sandra Oliver on Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2016
Hilarious sweater and very soft. Runs a little small though. I'm normally a comfortable Large and this fit was a little snug. Had to wear a shirt under it in order to not show every single bulge on my body. I recommend buying one size up for a more comfortable fit.
