Lift has worked flawlessly. Easy to assemble. Easy to transport (disassembles to two major components). The only thing I would do different is to incorporate a weighing device into it.

Hoyer lift home version

Hoyer lift sucks. I have used mine for two years and sometimes it get stuck in the up position and even the manual switch will not work. You have to completely unplug at the battery and hold the rest button for one minute. Leaving the person dangling in the air. I roll my lift on smooth wooden floors and the caster wheels are junk because they appear to be some sort of plastic. This lift came highly recommended by a PT at a famous rehab hospital in Houston Texas. The same type of lift that you get trained to use at the hospital is not the same quality you purchase for home use. And because you buy from Amazon there is not warranty.
