K&H Pet Lectro-Soft Heated Outdoor Bed

I’ve bought five or six of these through the years for my now 15-year-old cat. This one warms to barely body temperature and I’ve just paid out $50 for one that does not function properly as a new pad should. when it arrived I put it to one side, grabbed the cat, left home to take care of a friend who was suddenly wheelchair-bound, got him in the hospital then skilled nursing, then took care of him when he came home which took about a month. Now my trial period is over but I plugged it in with total confidence because I’ve had five or six of these before and expected The new one to replace the old one that was no longer heating adequately! Unfortunately, the new one doesn’t even heat as well as the old one I wanted to replace, -my own fault for not taking time immediately to check it out, but it was a matter of priorities, my friend needed help and it was the last thing on my mind that this one would be a dud.
