I initially got MEDIUM,,,,way too small even for my small legs. I would recommend whatever size you think you need, go up a size,,,you can always exchange them.These are pretty heavy duty; it's the only shinguards I've ever used but they seem like they will hold up over time and have provided appropriate protection during what sparring I have done thus far.

The fact that it does say kids or adult size on the description. Fooled me into buying them smfh
