A sleek American made design with crystal clearity!
By Robert Chesney on Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2016
I just opened up this baby, took it out of the box, and had it up and running in 15 minutes. I connected it to my Sanyo 24 inch brand new television using a optical cable. Then I plugged in the Pyle, sat down in my favorite leather chair, and let it out of the gate. Wow. I only had to make a few adjustments on my television (sound input) and the Pyle took over the room. I can't even tell you how clear the audio plays. I taught high school English for 30 plus years, so my hearing is a bit shell shocked. This is one reason I chose the Pyle because previous customer reviews really emphasized the crystal clarity of voice on their television sets once installing the Pyle. This is like heaven. I intend to move the Pyle downstairs to my family room and a 42" Samsung television. I can't wait to hear what impact it will have on our movie nights. I did switch channels to pick up one television cable movie and my wife said she felt like she was in a theater. She wasn't very happy about it because she likes quietness. Oh, well--Pyle has made one impressive and miniimalistic component here that plays with the big boys. I really love the sleek design. The remote control is certainly tiny but hey, you just put one of those velcro tabs on it and put it in the same place all the time and you are always ready to fly. Prior to the Pyle I had a ZVox but the thing blew out after a year or so. The ZVox was always a problem because you never really knew if it was on or not and sometimes it would just turn off by itself. I'm really looking forward to Sunday football games, the World Series, and great movie nights. Finally, Pyle really attracted me because it is American made! Yeh, baby.

Buyer beware, this speaker has limitations not found in most competitors and mediocre sound quality
By Chris Taylor on Reviewed in the United States on December 24, 2016
The sound is a little better that the TV speakers but not a lot. Many reviewers are happy about the lack of bass so that may not be an issue for you. Beware there is a lack of highs as well. This isn't a surprise as there are no tweeters. There are 4 1.5'' Full Ranges and 1 x 3.5'' Woofer supply by 15 watts to each stereo channel. I was hoping to split the Optical output from my TV to both this and my full surround sound system so I could choose something in between house shaking and TV speakers. Unfortunately the Pyle only supports PCM stream and not Bit-stream which is required for surround sound. Therefore I was forced to connect to my TV via Bluetooth. This isn't ideal either because it doesn't automatically connect to the TV. I haven't been able to configure my DirecTV universal remote to control the volume as the Pyle brand is to obscure to home theater. I kept this as it meets a space requirement and I hate returning stuff but I would not recommend it
