Top positive review
Overall, A great bulb

I purchased 8 bulbs (4 2 packs) to replace 8 x 65 watt Sylvania BR 30 flood bulbs rated at 580 lumens. The thought of consuming 520 watts of power when the lights were on was driving me nuts... 76 watts for the 8 LEDs sounds much more reasonable. The lights are installed in recessed ceiling cans, attached to a Lutron wall dimmer (recently installed, so may be more LED compatible design). Pros: - The lumen rating seems accurate... they are brighter than the 580 lumen bulbs that they replaced. - If you like warm light... these are fantastic. With half the bulbs replaced, I couldn't tell the difference from the warm incandescent bulbs. - I can not hear any buzzing from the lights when dimmed or on full blast. This is my biggest issue with LED's in the past... woot! Cons: - The face of these LEDs is about 3.5" in diameter, compared to the 5" diameter BR30 Flood I replaced. When looking up into the recessed cans, you can see the opening into the ceiling. Moral of the story is, pick the lightbulbs before you install the cans... or research the size of the bulb. - At the lowest setting on the dimmer, these bulbs are brighter than the incandescent ones. Also when I switch off the LED's when fully dimmed, and turn them back on in the same setting, they do not light up unless i increase the dimmer. I am giving these bulbs 5 stars based on the lack of dimmer buzz, bulb brightness, and the accurate warm color temp rating. The dimmer behavior issues are minor, and the bulb/can size issue is not a fault of the bulb.

Double check to be sure you receive the correct bulbs

The description is for a BR30 LED bulb, rated at 9.5 watts, 730 lumens with warm-glo dimming, 22.8 year life. The product shipped was a 9 watt, 650 lumens, 10 year life bulbs. Not as described. 11/14/16 update. I have been informed Philips Lighting changed the product specifications but continued to use the same barcode and this caused confusion for the fulfillment service.
