Another GREAT Amazon Cable

Just received today , have not yet used but manifesting great things/products Amazon does/manufactures. I will be using to connect a wireless Brother Laser printer. Connecting printer through wifi just such complicated process and at least for me when i followed exact step by step , did not connect, great use of 2 hours attempting to connect wifi. I will follow after using using with results.

Only works through one usb port

It only works when connected to the usb port next to the charger port in my Lenovo IdeaPad 3. I tried all other ports and nothing. Had to get a different cord. My coworker did manage to print with the same laptop but I think it came with shorts and I was unable to return based on my location.
