Attractive and sturdy rack

I successfully installed this item in 2 parts! When the item arrived and I reviewed it in place on the wall, I realized it found function better in 2 locations versus one, so I had my son try to do that. He was able to easily separate the two parts by unscrewing the small screws that held the top and bottom halves together. The look great, and I don’t think anyone would ever guess that it was intended as a single rack.

I bought one of these to put towels on for my bathroom nearly 10 years ago and loved it. Bought a couple more as gifts since then. The one I just bought, listed as the same hung is not. The current version comes in two pieces that have to be screwed into the wall, together. You can see the joins once mounted, unlike the original version. I also don’t see that change mentioned in the description. Disappointed and will be returning.
