Super easy to install and let me mount a rear-facing golf bag holder
By lordhamster on Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2019
My new EZ-Go cart came from the Cart company with a rear seat, a grab-bar and a golf bag holder. Only problem was that the golf bag holder faced inwards and used the foot rest platform to hold the bags. This meant that when loaded, with golf bags, the rear seat was unusable. Constantly having to load and unload the golf bags is a major pain!!To remedy this, I bought a Golf Cart Rear Seat Kit Golf Club Bag Attachment from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006O0F1Z4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Problem was, it didn't fit over the old grab bar my cart came with. I saw someone mention this Mad Jax grab bar in that product's review and ordered it hoping it would work.It arrived today, and once I removed my old grab bar, I noticed that my EZ-Go rear seat platform had pre-drilled holes in the exact spacing for this grab bar!! (the old bar had been jerry-riged on by the golf cart vendor. :/Anyway, the madjax grab bar came with 4 bolts, 4 washers but no nuts. I thought it was odd, till I noticed the machine screw threads in the new grab bar. The bolts passed right through the EZ-go pre-drilled holes into the machined threads, and I had the whole thing mounted in about 30 min. Most of that time was because my ratchet set didn't fit between the rear bumper and the rear part of the platform. A simple 9/16 (I think) wrench and about 8 min per bolt and I had the grab bar secured.Next, i was able to slip my new golf bag holder over the top and bingo! I now can have 2 golf bags mounted (and leave them mounted) AND have room for my kids to ride in the back seat. Huge time saver for me.

Fits too close to avoid rubbing when the back seat is folded down!
By Byron Trust on Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2016
Looks good but you have to be careful when folding down the back seat. You will have to pull the bar back to you to allow the back seat to pass without rubbing. When you release the bar it will fit extremely tight against the back seat frame. The manufacturer needs to add another 1/2" to 1" more space away from the cart to avoid this. I put multiple layers of black electrical tape on my seat frame to cushion the space between the back seat frame & grab bar to keep the back seat frame from scratching the inside of the grab bar. The outside face of the grab bar was scratched when I received it. Disappointing but probably not the last scratch I will get on it so I did not return it. The grab bar is easy to install with one person. It will function perfect if you never did the seat down. I gave it two stars because it was scratched up when I got it & it fits too close to lay down my back seat without making unsightly modifications to avoid scratching.
