Lightweight, Scoop With Easy Hold Handle
By Nancy B. on Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2015
I have a problem with my knee and I can't carry anything heavy. I found a container on wheels for my cat's dry cat food and bought a scoop so I just have to roll the container over to the food dish, scoop it out of the container and fill the bowl. This works well for me so.... I like the Clump and Seal Cat Litter, but the formula that works great happens to be the heavy littler formula, not the newer lightweight formula. They come in boxes that are 19 pounds and 38 pounds, so I got another of the same container to store the litter in, so I can leave it near the litter box or tool it over to the litter box to replenish the litter in the litter box. I looked in Amazon and got this scoop so I ca scoop the clean litter into the box. It seems to wok well and it is large enough to replenish the litter with a couple of scoops. It seems to be strong enough for the purpose I need it for. If there is any change in my positive use of this scoop, I will update this review.

This scoop's best feature is the fact that it's pretty
By Dharmadog on Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2016
This scoop's best feature is the fact that it's pretty, which would have a lot more weight with me if it didn't spend 99% of the time shut up in a bin of dog food. The rubberized grip also feels nice in the hand. There are, however, two major drawbacks. First, the piece of metal connecting the handle to the bowl of the scoop is weak. If you put any meaningful pressure on it, the metal will bend. As a result, you have to scoop carefully to avoid putting too much stress on the scoop. Second, the one cup, or eight ounce, mark on the bowl of the scoop isn't at the top of the bowl. It is something like 3/4 of an inch of the way down the side. If you are buying this scoop thinking you are going to be able to quickly scoop up a cup of food at a time, you will be disappointed. In order to measure out a cup, you have to do a whole lot of shaking food out and checking the line and shaking some more out, etc. The top of the scoop is closer to a cup and a half.
