Great shoe for a picky person

I ordered these for my husband. He has wide feet and is super finicky with shoes... which makes finding anything close to a "dress" shoe very hard. We got these in the double wide and they seem like they work well for him. They fit nicely and the leather seems very nice. They are much sharper looking than most of the other shoes he has, so they'll be good for nights out. He isn't used to "slip on" shoes, so he thought they were hard to put on, but we got a shoe horn so he's all set.

These shoes run narrow and 'short'. I ordered wide, verified that they are labeled wide, but they really are NOT wide. I have a black similar pair that are wide...I have been wearing them off and on trying to break them in, but they are not comfortable.
