Solid, stable, well made.

The double wheel gives this ab roller more stability than single wheel models. The handles are comfortable and they withstand a large load. I'm 6'1" and 225 pounds and I've been using this unit for weeks and it's solid. One caveat that has NOTHING to do with the quality or utility of this Ab wheel is that ab roll outs are a TOUGH exercise. It will introduce you to core and low back stabilizer muscles you didn't know you had. I've been doing ab roll outs for 3 months under the watchful eye of a professional physical therapist for back problems diagnosed via MRI and a spine specialist. If you are older, out of shape and/or have not done ab exercises in a while, consult an accredited trainer/medical professional prior to use. When you start, GO SLOW. I had been doing 40 minutes on a crunch bench for 6+ months and it did NOTHING to prepare me for the Ab wheel. I could not do sets of three fully horizontal. It took me 8 weeks to work up to 5 sets of ten. It really helps my lower back along with other prescribed stretching and planks. At the gym, I use a 10 or 15 pound EZ-bar because it's wide enough to accommodate my gym mat. I use this Ab wheel at home on my carpet. One suggestion I would make for the Ab wheel folks would be to make a wider version of this useful ab work out device so the wheels go outside a standard exercise mat. I might even make a small version of this unit with the wheels on the OUTSIDE for even more stability. I like this compact exercise device. It's well made, works as advertised and as long as you understand that this is not an inherently simple exercise, you will gain low back and core strength. But be smart, get professional advice prior to beginning if you are older or have back problems and GO SLOW.

Effective but Recommend a Different Model
By Maria on Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2015
This product definitely accomplishes what it's set out to do and functions well. The Pros: The dual wheels and the space between them creates stability and more of an ease in the motion than you'd have with a single wheeled product, is my impression. The rounded edge wheel allows for additional toning and exercise options to target your sides. I find the ab wheel, in general, easy and fairly fun to use and can definitely a difference in my abdomen even after only a few days of use. You can't see the difference (yet!) but you can feel the tightness within your muscles. You can't spot lose weight so don't expect miracles but if you eat healthy and incorporate cardio, this ab wheel will definitely make a difference and tone your abdomen. The Cons: I would not call the quality great in terms of impression - it just looks like an inexpensive plastic, but it is light as a result. I was disappointed in the look of the quality when it arrived as it was more expensive than other models so I just expected better. The main thing I don't like about this particular wheel, and so will return for a different wheel, is that the handles, though seemingly sturdy, have nubs on a black rubber type of grip. I find this difficult. I don't have workout gloves to wear when I use this and I've seen some ab wheels on Amazon that have neoprene soft handles and so I'm going to try and find one with a dual wheel but neoprene handles. That would be far preferable to nubs pressing on palms! :) You put a lot of pressure on your palms when you do this motion so I can't imagine anyone feels that this model is comfortable for that reason, unless perhaps you are wearing workout gloves at same time. I do think those with back issues would not be able to do this exercise. To sum up, as an exercise tool, I really like this! It's fun and easy to use. I just would recommend a different ab wheel with dual wheels (like that feature) but soft/cushioned neoprene handles.
