Keeps liquids cold. Great bottle.
By Kathy L on Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2025
I love this bottle. I got the 24 ounce one so it holds a good deal, and the design of it makes it easy to hold and drink from. I have found that several of the bottles that hold larger amounts are too big around to fit comfortably in my hand, but not this one. It hold ice for a couple of days, and keeps drinks cold. I have not tried it with hot liquids yet. I find it really is spill proof, and I like the location of the button you push to release the liquid. The only thing that I would change about this bottle is to add a handle, either on the side or on the top that you could loop your finger through to make it easier to carry. I have not yet taken it in the car to see whether it fits into the cup holder, but just by looking at it, I think it will. One other thing I like about it is that even though it is slender, the bottom is not so tiny that it is top heavy. I have another bottle that I got that is so tall and the base is so small around that it is top heavy and falls over easily. Not this one. So in short, I would recommend this bottle , you won't be sorry for purchasing it.

Once the King of Travel Mugs, Contigos are Now Less
By Seth S on Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2025
So this is one of those reviews to pay attention to: I was a devoted, even evangelizing Contigo user for 13 years, using mine daily and buying a new one every 2-3 years (they were durable, but once or twice I lost one!). Contigo was the king of insulated travel mugs—tough, kept things hot for quite a while, and the lock means it’s basically watertight. HOWEVER, my most recent one just arrived and it is more cheaply manufactured than all previous ones I’ve purchased—the metal casing is thinner, even has a slight amount of squeezy give that you can feel when handling it. This is all a change from the previous ones I’ve owned. I occasionally drop mine, give it constant use etc, and being able to actually feel the cheaper metal casing leaves me convinced it will not last the way they used to. So: still a good product, but no longer the clearly superior, durable product it once was. I’ll be exploring other options next time—I’m not sure quality matches the price point anymore.
