I bought this projector a few months ago I've had BenQ products before and like the quality of them my last projector was a viewsonic and it died in a storm so I did research and ended up getting the BenQ GP20 and so far love it if your worried about the lumens I can watch tv with the lights on and my lights are bright but still washes out some great in a dark room color is awsome even when on eco mode which I keep it on it has a 100,000:1 contrast and it's 700 lumens it is small and portable so you can take it anywhere you want and set up dosent use the regular projector style mount it's more of a camera tripod mount which I just got a security camera mount and works perfect have it having on the ceiling it is short throw at about 3.3ft from screen makes a 40" screen I have it projecting a 108" and still looks perfect can't beat the price for what it does as I tell all my friends why pay 500 bucks for a 50" when I paid the same price and have a 108" there are some draw backs in quality vs a regular tv but doesn't bother me once you make a bigger screen you don't want to go back makes my 50" in living room feel to small now might have to get another projector

This projector had multiple issues

I bought this on 2014. Within 2 months of purchase, its display had problem. I sent the device to Benq for repair and it was fixed and sent back. After 2 year, the device stopped working. When took to service center, they ordered and replaces the mainboard. They charged for the board as it was out of warranty. After 2 years again the device stopped working. This time both the main board and power are damaged. Please note that maximum hours used is around 1000 Hours only. The LED has life of 30,000 Hrs but what's the purpose if all other parts cannot last even a couple of years.
