FGS Programmable Thermostat

This item did not work at all. This was ordered to replace a previous/defunct thermostat. I installed this per standard wiring procedure/guides and it powered on enough to set a time in program. However, once floor warming started it immediately tripped off and indicated a GFI fault. I contacted customer support from warm tiles who listened to my concerns and confirmed appropriate wiring. They then told me that I would need to get an electrical contractor to come and evaluate the product to ensure that it is appropriately connected. Unfortunately, my electrician was on a vacation at the time. Once he came to my house, he confirmed his appropriately wired. He confirmed that voltages were all correct and that there was no other short in the circuit. He could find no other explanation other than this particular thermostat was defective. I initiated a return with Amazon the same day however, after doing this extensive troubleshooting, Amazon now says, I am outside the return window by a few days and would not accept return. I contacted seller in hopes that they would allow a return and/or exchange but have not heard back. It's very much seems that I was sold a non-functional thermostat now with no option to correct this
