Barebones Edison Mini Lantern - Vintage

I bought the copper colored version of this lamp. Even though it’s not real copper, it’s quite a charming little lamp and it works pretty well. My main complaint is that it is extremely difficult to get the lamp from the box. At one point I realized I needed to start cutting away the box rather than pulling on it for fear that I was going to damage the lamp. It was quite an ordeal. Amazon used to offer consumer friendly packaging. This is a product that really needs that because it’s ridiculous how they have the thing tied in there. The pull ties are so tight you can’t even get a knife blade in. Protective packaging is important, but they’ve lost sight of the goal, which is to deliver a product that the consumer can get out and use and enjoy. Getting at this thing was a nightmare.
