Burris AR Tripler - Worth the money.

Very happy with this purchase. Couldn't justify going eotech and spending more for a magnifier than I did for my 512. Build quality and finish are great. Flip mount is solid and a nice touch. Eye relief is pretty good. Glass is very clear. I was pleasantly surprised at how light this unit is. I would recommend this to anyone seeking a more affordable alternative to eotech.

Doesn't Work For Me

The height of this magnifier doesn't align well at all with the Sig Sauer Romeo 5. I purchased a 1/3 co-witness mount as the AR Tripler is supposed to be aligned to 1.65" center line and with the 1/3 co-witness mount the Romeo 5 was then too high. You could still see through okay but I was getting bad starburst effects with the red dot. I simply can't recommend this magnifier for use with the Romeo 5, I don't think it's a good fit at all. Also the eye relief is terrible. If it's 2 inches I would be shocked, my nose was right on the charging handle, and I was still fighting for a clear picture. The magnifier itself has clear glass so I have no complaints there, it's just the alignment and eye relief thats poor. The quick disconnect mount is quite nice as well. I wanted this magnifier to work for me but it has fallen short.
