Excellent silverware set.

For starters these things are heavy. The first time I used one of the forks to cut I was blown away with how much easier it was than with my old cheap set simply because of the weight and thickness. You can feel the sturdiness and quality just holding them. The style is simple, but nice enough to put out for a formal dinner. No nooks and crannies that are hard to clean or prone to tarnish. Very happy with the purchase.

Rusting after 3 weeks

I had bought a prior set from the store a while ago but decided it wasn’t enough silverware for my growing family. Now after supplementing that set with this one from Amazon 3 weeks later I already have two rusty pieces. Save yourself the hassle of having odd numbers and partial settings and buy the real version of this silverware from a proper store. This isn’t the high quality Mikasa I’m used to and I wish I could separate it from my prior set and return.
