BEST BLUE TOOTH HEADSET FOR ACTIVE WATER SPORTS
By Becki on Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2015
After my present blue tooth headset died, that was made by a well known manufacturer', I had surfed the net trying to find a replacement of the same type design. Since I was looking for something at a bargain cost, naturally I searched Amazon.com. Never would I had thought I would find something so advanced, in design that was so much comfortable & easier to use than my previous headband design until I found this Pyle Active Sport blue tooth. Not only that but according to the manufacturer it's waterproof for use in under water in less in shallow water sports. Another feature I'm thrilled with is the charging unit is easily detachable and small enough to place in a shirt pocket & place in the computer USB port for charging. You don't even need a computer. Charge with your existing 110 v or 12 v charger that, as most do,a 5 v output. Add a USB male to USB female cord and your set. No longer would I have to take a whole bulky headset with it's charging unit & plug in an outlet.

In short: DON'T GET UNLESS YOU WANT TO BUY A NEW ONE IN A FEW MONTHES!
By Mineka on Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2015
UPDATE: I've had these for aprox. a month and a half. They have never gone in the pool (my old style of these did, which is how I know they won't work in the water.), they have occasionally gone in the shower with me. Their use has been maybe an hour or so of listening most days, and two days a week 7+ hours of listening while I'm at work. They have never been submerged. However not even two monthes in, and the right ear bud is cutting out. I know it's a wire issue, because if I tuck the cord behind my ear I can get it to behave. However if I have to tilt my head to look at something the wire cuts out. I can't use them for running any longer, nor can I comfortably use them at work. I COULD send them into the manufacturer to get fixed, but a. I have to pay to send them there, and b. I have to pay to have them send them back. I'm sorry, I think if your product essentially breaks within two monthes, that you should fix things for free. If I had them for a year that'd be different. Oh, and the microphone doesn't work at all anymore. I've answered calls with this device, only to have them not hear me when I talk because of this. Let me start by saying: Don't use the Bluetooth for swimming. The water is going to cut your signal out constantly. Nothing more annoying then heading every other note of Let it Go! With that disclaimer in place, I really like these. They're comfortable for me to wear, and small so they disappear under my hair. I can wear these at work, and they're easy to take an easy bud out to talk to people before putting them back in and concentrating. I also wear them for my non swimming workouts, and they stay in well with the land buds, if I put them in right the first time. I can go from my workout to my shower and getting ready without having to take them off I plan, at some point, to get the mp3 player that fits these headphones for swimming. When that time comes happen I'll update this review.
