Superior Quality Indoor Grill!

Worth the wait! Our older George F Grill bit the dust. This is a higher priced replacement, but worth every penny to get a decent sized plate for two people. All the newer George F's available were too small. This is 10 times better than any GF Grill available - food cooks evenly, fast, and done to perfection. It does all the work, and the manual mode works well too. Cools off fast, not too heavy, perfect for two or more people. I wish I bought it sooner!

Will not brown meat before meat gets dry and tough!

It sucks! I have unsuccessfully tried several times to cook burgers, steaks and chops using the auto settings and the manual settings. Regardless of the method/setting/temp the meat does not brown before it gets dry and tough. Browning the meat is what enhances its flavor! Having confidence in the T-Fal name I spent more than i had planned, and I am beyond disappointed. I had a George Forman for at least 15 years and wore it out. I DO NOT recommend this grill and wish I would have returned it for a refund instead of continuing to try to make it work. I am donating this $122 mistake to a thrift shop and going back to what I know works well.
