We just bought a new home and it has a fireplace which we love and want to use. We searched for the best product to allow us to enjoy our fireplace while keeping our 20 month toddler safe, and this has worked great. you can configure it in many different ways and even bolt it to the wall if you would like. would also be great to use as a play yard. would provide a little more space than the typical pack n' play. Very sturdy and has performed exactly how I wanted/expected it to!

Great design, poor quality

The gate was the only one that met our size requirements. When we got the first one in the mail, Wayfair sent us a faulty one. They sent us a replacement and that one worked really well for a while, but after a few months, a rod came out. We contacted the customer service for the gate and they were helpful and sent us a replacement rod. However, now a screw came out and the plastic cracked on another rod, so we need two more replacement rods. It's a great concept, but such poor quality it's not worth the hassle.
