I saw one of these in a camping store and it looked like a clever setup, and potentially an inexpensive way to have a spoon long enough to reach to the bottom of the pot or frozen food pouch and yet fit inside my 750 l cook pot. So I ordered one from Amazon, and surprise!, I received a box containing the display card, but no utensil. (I can't blame the overworked Amazon warehouse worker too much, since the display card had a photo representation of the utensil on it. But when I called Amazon customer service, they insisted that I couldn't get a replacement without returning the one I received.... When I finally got one, I found it didn't live up to my expectations. The handle part is too wide, and too close to the width of the spoon and fork ends, to make it comfortable to use. The catch that holds the handle part in its extended (slided-out) position doesn't seem very secure or like it will be effective over time. If you use the spoon for coffee or soup, then the coffee or soup gets on your hand when you need to use the fork. This utensil is pretty light, but not any lighter than a titanium or anodized aluminum spoon or spork, and it still isn't short enough in the retracted state to reside inside my 750 mil pot. So this experience was a double fail.
